Ashley and Bill met in May 2020 on the dating app, Bumble. Given it was peak-COVID times, they had a Zoom video call after messaging back and forth to see if there was really a connection. What seemed initially like a pre-screening interview, quickly turned into a virtual date sharing stories, jokes, and beers. The date ended with Bill inviting Ashley (and Reggie) to play bocce ball and eat sushi in his backyard the next night. After meeting in person, Ashley and Bill were together most days thereafter! Reggie approved of the relationship and has gladly accepted Bill as his father figure.

Ashley and Bill are both from Michigan, which has made trips back to the mitten a highlight! They love spending time up in Northern Michigan, so getting married in Traverse City was an easy choice. They cannot wait for their friends and family to enjoy the beautiful fall weather on Lake Michigan, while exploring the breweries and wineries across the city!
